Three suspected gang members from Fullerton have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in an Anaheim shooting in August that killed one man and injured another, authorities said.

Each suspect was booked into jail on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon and being held without the possibility of bail.

Dominick Sanchez, 27, Jacob Antunez, 24, and Jorge Nolasco, 27, were arrested without incident after SWAT teams descended on their Fullerton homes on Thursday, April 15, Anaheim Sgt. Shane Carringer said.

Detectives said they believe the three men targeted Edwin Richard Ramirez Hernandez, 28, and the other man in the area of Citron Street and Bellevue Drive because they thought the victims were rival gang members, Carringer said.

It wasn’t disclosed if the two victims were indeed gang members.

About 12:30 a.m. on Aug 15 police found Hernandez with several gunshot wounds on Bellevue, just east of Citron. He died at the scene. The second man, 27 at the time, was taken to a local hospital and survived, Carringer said.

Police declined to say how they tied the shooting to the three men, and they did not say if there was more than one shooter.
