The UCLA men’s basketball team added another 5-star recruit to its 2022 class when Windward High’s Dylan Andrews announced his commitment Friday afternoon via Instagram.

Andrews, a 6-foot-3 point guard, is ranked the No. 21 overall prospect in the class and the fifth best point guard in the country, according to 247Sports.com. He’ll arrive in Westwood with the class’s top guard, Amari Bailey of Sierra Canyon, who committed to UCLA in mid February.

Andrews commitment is now the third Southern California-based 5-star recruit UCLA coach Mick Cronin has bagged since his arrival two short years ago. Bruin fans will be sure to see 2021 5-star wing Peyton Watson from Long Beach Poly this fall.
